Local Activities

The Gower peninsula was the UK's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

The peninsula has many beautiful beaches ranging from Three Cliffs (voted the best beach in Europe) to Caswell & the world famous Rhossilli beach with the scenic Worm's Head promontory.

The Old Vicarage provides easy access to the north& south Gower coast.

The north coast has green fields and villages sweeping gently down to the sea.

The south coast has limestone cliffs and some of Europe's best loved sandy bays with easy access for walkers and cars.

There are too many "must see" highlights in and around Gower but most visitors ensure they visit Rhossili, Three Cliffs and spend at least one day in the seaside village of Mumbles with it's great variety of independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.

The walk from Parkmill to Three Cliffs follows a fast flowing stream through a beautiful, wooded valley with the haunting Pennard Castle overlooking Three Cliffs Bay is simply stunning.
